The recent Community Nonprofit Forum hosted by CCDC provided more than the opportunity for nonprofit organizations to present their platforms and missions to help the community. It also provided a huge boost to the lucky winner of a $5,000 donation drawn from names of those attending the event.
Just in time for the holidays, this year’s recipient was Clarke County’s Toys for Christmas organization.

With the approval of the most recent plan updates to the ORBIT Tech Center, the Clarke County Development Corporation (CCDC) has moved to the next phase of the project and has officially been approved by the CCDC Board to go to bid for construction.

Osceola Chamber Main Street has been working hard with updates and beautification projects on Osceola’s Historic square. The latest venture OCMS is taking on is a mural design partnership with students from the Clarke National Art Honor Society for a 7′ x 12 mural to be posted at 100 S Fillmore.

ith funding earmarked from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) as well as a discretionary grant from the Clarke County Development Corporation (CCDC), the Clarke County Supervisors decided to move forward with the completion of records digitization and archiving for both the Clarke County Recorder’s and the Clarke County Auditor’s offices.

The iJag program that was implemented in the Clarke Community School district just last year has seen some spectacular results. With the support from local businesses and organizations, the fledgling startup program more than doubled their student enrollment and saw some spectacular results for program participants as well as those supporting businesses!
