The Clarke County Development Corporation (CCDC) has announced the launch of ClarkeCountyJobs.com, a free job board designed to connect local employers with Clarke County job seekers.
The platform, expected to be fully operational by May 8, was created in response to ongoing challenges employers face in hiring locally.

he CCDC is partnering with Iowa Workforce Development (IWD) and Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) to complete a Laborshed employment study for the Osceola and Clarke County areas. This study will geographically define which communities contribute to the area’s workforce, regardless of political boundaries.

Thanks to a $30,000 Grant from CCDC, the Clarke County Sheriff’s Office has placed a new fully equipped patrol vehicle into service after a cruiser was totaled in the line of duty. The investment helped cover the high cost of upfitting and critical equipment, ensuring deputies can continue protecting our community without interruption.

CCDC moved swiftly last week, approving a $15,000 Flashpoint Fund grant to support Clarke Community Schools student-athletes impacted by the Alley Bowl fire.
