Osceola Foods, the local manufacturing facility owned by Hormel Foods Corporation (NYSE: HRL) made a $5,000 donation to Clarke County Hospital to support the “Enhance Our Patients’ Experience” campaign. The contribution directly provides funding for the Clarke County Hospital facility expansion and renovation project, which will increase clinical space, improve patient experience and enhance operational efficiency across many departments within the hospital, including:
- Lower-level clinic and behavioral health space
- Pre and post-operative patient room and surgical suite upgrades
- New kitchen and dining area
- Second floor patient sun deck
- Material handling storage expansion
- Additional parking
“Osceola Foods has long been a significant partner of the hospital, and we are very grateful for their generous donation to help fund the renovation project that is currently underway on our campus,” said Brian Evans, CEO of Clarke County Hospital. “Their support helps us grow to meet our community’s healthcare needs and to deliver excellent, compassionate and personalized care for the people in south-central Iowa. To date, the Hospital Foundation has generated more than $525,000 in community support of the nearly $13,000,000 renovation and construction project.
