Clarke Community School District hosted Governor Kim Reynolds for a Regional Education Roundtable on Monday, February 26.

iowa governor kim reynolds visited clarke community schools in osceola iowaStudents, teachers, and leaders from Clarke Community School District greeted the governor as she engaged in discussions with superintendents from Murray, East Union, Central Decatur, Lamoni, Bedford, Mount Ayr, I-35, and Earlham.

The event aimed to facilitate conversations and partnerships that improve educational opportunities for students in the area and to discuss the executive branch’s educational legislative priorities. Following the meeting, the governor was escorted on a tour of Clarke Elementary by student ambassadors and participated in an early childhood literacy lesson with a kindergarten class.
