As a way to expand service to our community, Clarke County Hospital is pleased to announce the opening of the new Clarke County Hospital Walk-In Clinic, a weekend only clinic designed for non-emergency medical care.
The new hospital walk-in clinic will open in early February and complement UnityPoint Clinic Family Medicine’s existing weekend care by offering convenient Saturday and Sunday hours on a first come, first served basis. If your regular doctor is within the UnityPoint Family Medicine network, he or she will follow-up with you as needed, extending the continuum of care beyond your walk-in care visit.
Clarke County Hospital’s Walk-In Clinic will be conveniently located inside the hospital’s existing Specialty Clinic space. On weekends, patients will access the new clinic through the hospital’s main entrance and lobby from 10am – 5pm. Patients will still have the option of utilizing UnityPoint Clinic Family Medicine for weekend care on Saturday’s from 8am – 12pm. Clarke County Hospital’s Walk-In Clinic will provide non-emergent care and a lower cost alternative than Emergency Department visits
